Last week before the holiday Erica and I went over to check out Stars at The Southgate House in Newport. I've wanted to catch these guys live since they first started putting out albums back around 2001. It was an awesome show and the Southgate House is such a great venue for shows. Here are a few really terrible pics I took on my iPhone of the show. Lesson from this trip: grab the DSLR next time.

Not bad for an iPhone though, sometimes you just don't want to be drug down.
That was a wonky comment, must of only had one cup of coffee. Sometimes you just don't feel like dragging around a camera. I hate carrying them around concerts just for one or two pictures.
Same here, tend to be more trouble than they are worth at concerts. They had some pretty crazy lighting going on at this show though, I bet I could have gotten some interesting shots. Oh well!
Depends on if you're going to the kind of show you know you'll be sitting at though. I would have to lug around even an iPhone if I'm in the pit.
